A few words from our talented product representatives ROOTED IN NEW IDEAS I love being part of Darwin Perennials because we breed for plants that make a difference by solving problems for our customers and their clients. We look for plants that finish faster, provide more disease resistance and perform better in the commercial landscape and home garden. Great work takes time. We spend years looking at potential varieties at trial beds and with growers who do advanced trialing before a plant comes to market. Having an opportunity to see the plants in an array of different environments gives me a good understanding of how they can benefit our grower customers. This trialing and feedback tell the story behind the plants and help the team decide which varieties to move forward.

BRANCHING OUT In my 30 years of growing perennials, I never used to concern myself with who bred a plant variety or how they did it. As a greenhouse grower, I just wanted high-quality unrooted cuttings of varieties that performed well and looked good for the customer. When I became a technical representative for Darwin Perennials, I was surprised to discover how complex the process of creating a new variety and consistently supplying it to the market is. Our farm in Colombia does everything possible to provide only the best cuttings for our customers. That makes me proud to represent Darwin Perennials and Darwin Colombia to the industry.
