LAVENDER Extend Your Growing Season with Lavender Spring into the Season with Spanish Lavender Kick off your Lavender season in early Spring with Spanish Lavender varieties, such as the Anouk series, which is hardy to Zone 6. These tender Mediterranean natives bloom under short days and generally require cool treatment to flower. Spanish Lavender are known for their sweet, piney scent and pineapple-shaped flowers with colorful flags, ranging from white to deep purple. They perform very well in landscapes, although this class generally cycles out of flower in the Summer heat.
